For their spring wedding, Rachel Dampier (22 and works in banking) and Todd Royle (42 and is a professor) planned a romantic, rustic affair with plenty of Southern flair. The Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, GA offered an elegant backdrop for the day, with acres of perfectly manicured lawns, antebellum architecture and Oak trees dripping with Spanish moss speaking to the history of the wedding’s locale. The couple relied on a color palette of pale gray and coral to bring the outdoor space to life, lush bunches of roses and hydrangeas adding a pop of playful color to the reception tables, as well as the ceremony’s fabric-draped wedding arch. Succulents played a major part in the wedding’s floral arrangements, making an appearance in Rachel’s bridal bouquet, the boutonnieres and the centerpieces. Pedestals made from tree trunks and Mason jar drinking glasses introduced a subtle rustic note to the decor. Guests enjoyed a night of dinner and dancing under a whimsical canopy of fairy lights and at the night’s end a horse and carriage whisked the newlyweds away.

Rachel walked down the aisle in a strappy pair of blush sandals, giving her a lift and tying in seamlessly with the wedding's color palette.
Succulents were incorporated throughout the day, making an appearance in everything from Rachel's bridal bouquet to the centerpieces and boutonnieres.

Rachel and Todd Exchange Vows
After exchanging vows, Rachel, Todd and their guests returned to the Plantation House for a night of dinner and dancing under the stars. The reception site was surrounded by lush gardens and old growth Oaks dripping in Spanish moss, a backdrop that perfectly captured the classic Southern vibe the couple was going for.
Pale pink and ivory blooms were arranged over tree slice plaques to give each reception table a romantic, rustic flair.
Monogrammed Orange and Black Koozies
Instead of having two separate cakes, the couple decided to merge the groom's cake and wedding cake into one mouth-watering confection.
The groom's cake/wedding cake combo was topped with a burlap R, adding a rustic touch to the three-tiered confection.
Bright fairy light orbs and trees wrapped in strands of twinkling lights added a whimsical touch to the reception site after the sun went down.
