A Romantic Seaside Wedding at Lighthouse Beach in Key Largo, Florida

No passports were necessary in the making of Anna Zolynsky (25 and a tattoo apprentice) and Kyle Husband’s (32 and an executive manager) destination affair. “We wanted a private beach venue that was far enough away from home that we had to buy a plane ticket, but not so far that our guests had to use their passports,” Anna says. Shortly after they booked Key Largo Lighthouse Beach, the couple alluded at what was to come with DIY invitations that mimicked the look of a boarding pass. “We walked away from making those with more than a few paper cuts,” Anna says. Anna carried a textured bouquet of tulips, ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus and blue thistle. Mojitos, jazz and conch fritters made for a memorable cocktail hour, and a relaxed beachfront pig roast ensued. A caricature artist was on hand throughout the evening to provide guests with illustrated portraits that doubled as favors. “We got one done and it’s now a great memento of our day,” Anna says.
