A Romantic Rustic Wedding at SFU Diamond Alumni Center in British Columbia, Canada
Natalie La Leggia (23, a Banker) and Braden Reimer (25, a Realtor) decided to hold their reception the SFU Diamond Alumni Center, a place very special to them. "Braden had first dropped "I love you" at SFU one night while I was writing a paper. It was about one in the morning, he knew I was at SFU working on that paper, and he searched the library and Criminology department for me (he had flowers with him!). He finally found me and before he left he let it slip: "I think I'm in love with you." We both stood there, stunned, and he darted off as quickly as he could. On our wedding day we snuck off with our photographer to take some photos in that exact spot," Natalie recalls. Braden let Natalie take the reins on the wedding design as she had a very clear idea of what she wanted. A mix of vintage inspired elements, personal touches, paper flowers, chalkboards, DIY elements and a gorgeous suspended ladder with flowers, candle lanterns and other ornaments hanging from it brought together the rustic, romantic and elegant wedding Natalie was going for. "My goal was that our guests would leave our celebration feeling like they knew us more as a couple," Natalie says.
