A Romantic, Rustic Wedding at Irongate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio

rn Hidden among the rolling hills and tall trees lies the Irongate Equestrian Center in Hartford, Ohio, with a modernized barn that housed this romantic wedding with a rustic style. "I'd always liked the idea of doing a barn wedding, but that became so common, almost a cliche," Aubrey Fisher (22 and a special education teacher) says of her marriage to Josh Thompson (23 and a project manager). "I loved that this venue has the "farm" feel, but at the same time is romantic and absolutely stunning." The newly renovated barn maintained a rustic style through its wooden build, where the ceremony and reception took place—all captured by Brett Loves Elle Photography. Aubrey and Josh combined a berry hue with green foliage and wooden accents, from the ceremonial archway decorated with blooms and leafy greens by Sunny Meadows Flower Farm to the stunning wedding cake propped up on a tree trunk. Guests found their seats at white-covered dining tables for the reception, marked with white and gold numbers propped up on wine corks. Throughout the night, the leaves painted on the wooden-plank guest book filled up with names of friends and family who attended the special occasion—a memorable keepsake that Aubrey and Josh got to take home. Each detail contributed a special aspect to the day, but we absolutely fell in love with Aubrey's white dress accented in lace and dot tulle, truly reflecting the romantic style her and Josh envisioned.
