A Romantic, Rustic Wedding at Hope Glen Farm in Cottage Grove, Minnesota

Anne Olson (34 and an environmental compliance manager) and Willie Beattie (31 and an account operations manager) held their wedding on Hope Glen Farm, in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. The palette of vivid poppy (an orange/red), coral and peach set the tone for the bright, colorful look of the rustic, romantic wedding. Anne crafted much of the decor herself: yarn-wrapped bottles used to hold flowers for the centerpieces, ribbon pomanders that hung along the ceremony aisle, hand-painted W and A letters that sat next to the bar. Anne loves dahlias, so she sourced the flowers from a local dahlia farmer, and wove the flowers throughout the centerpiece decor, which went with the rose-filled romantic bouquets arranged by Sweet Peas Floral. The ceremony was held outdoors on the grassy field of the farm, in front of a big, old tree. The cocktail hour immediately followed on the patio area attached to the barn, where the groom and bride’s signature cocktails were served. The reception was held indoors, and everyone enjoyed grilled chicken and steak kebabs grilled on-site. Check out more photos by Yantes Photo, below.
