A Romantic, Rustic Wedding at Aristide in Mansfield, Texas

Shades of pink, peach, ivory, beige, burgundy and gold filled Courtney McMahon (30 and a receptionist at a medical day spa) and Parker Ryan’s (29 and an assistant superintendent) elegant yet laid-back affair.

“I’m kind of the hippie girl out of my group of friends, so I wanted my wedding style to be along those lines,” Courtney says. “I wanted all of my guests to feel like they could let loose and have a good time to help us celebrate our day.”

The bride wore a backless ivory lace mermaid-style gown with a plunging V-neckline.

Chocolate cupcakes topped with an Ohio State “O” (a nod to Parker’s favorite sports teams) were served alongside the couple’s wedding cake. Courtney picked the dress color, brand and length for her nine bridesmaids, then let each of them choose the style she felt most comfortable in.

Gold flatware and chargers popped against the burgundy runner that spanned the length of the head table. Burgundy also accented the couple’s floral invitation suite with a geometric pattern printed in gold.

The matron of honor’s daughter, Kinley, made a sweet flower girl but “didn’t get the concept of throwing petals,” Courtney says. “It was so cute!”
