A Romantic, Rustic Backyard Wedding at a Private Residence in Seattle, Washington

For Mike and Christine the easiest wedding decision to make was where to say "I Do." Mike's parent's dairy farm became the background for what was to be a romantic, rustic and luxe affair with a nod to the property's roots. The former dairy farm has passed through three generations of Mike's family and began in 1886. "The most simple part of our wedding was choosing the location -- Mike's parents' property. It's a very special and magical place. My husband grew up on the farm and has many fond memories of it. They no longer operate the dairy farm but many of the farm structures still stand. The land is gorgeous with beautiful trees, plants and flowers everywhere. It was very meaningful to have our wedding there," says Christine. The next no-brainer? Choosing local planner Sinclair and Moore Events to put all their plans in motion and come up with the perfect designs and colors. One of the most charming aspects of this wedding has to be the beautiful flower arrangements that include everything from romantic roses, soft dahlias, rustic leafy lamb's ear and even unripened blackberries (see the boutonnieres below!).
