A Romantic Rooftop Terrace Wedding at Grace in Portland, Maine

Canada-based couple Kyla Fraser (32 and a client service representative) and Struan Smith (31 and a lawyer) headed south of the border for an intimate, fun-filled celebration with their closest family and friends. Kyla and Struan made the decision to wed in Portland, Maine, despite having only visited the locale just once before. “We wouldn’t have been able to have a small wedding if we got married back home,” Struan says. A dramatic sideswept braid upped the romance of Kyla’s lace wedding gown. Both the ceremony and cocktail hour took place at The Press Hotel, and the pair celebrated with dinner at Grace restaurant before hosting an after-party at Bayside Bowl. A rooftop ceremony offered stunning views of Casco Bay Harbor and the Portland skyline.
