A Romantic Restaurant Wedding at Presidio Social Club in San Francisco, California
Lisa Osterling (35 and an investment professional) and Joe Fitzgerald (36 and a management consultant) met at a friend’s barbeque party and discovered their many similarities (skiing and their professions, just to name a few.) They established a two-year courtship and enjoyed each other’s company before they tied the knot. Joe wanted to propose to Lisa at the Marin Headlands, protected government property with a breathtaking backdrop of San Francisco’s Gold Gate Bridge. After climbing up a steep trail to get to the peak, the couple enjoyed an intimate picnic lunch where Joseph found the perfect opportunity to ask the question. Joe and Lisa had their wedding ceremony at St. Ignatius Church in San Francisco, one of the largest churches in San Francisco and also where the couple dedicated their time. The classic, romantic themed reception was held at The Presidio Social Club, where the couple was inspired by the old-world architecture. The flower arrangements, table linens and indoor-outdoor d?cor followed the color palette of gray, ivory, black and reds. “Joe and I were looking to throw the best and largest intimate dinner party of our lives, rather than a big nondescript party, so we wanted each guest to feel personally invited, welcomed and integral to the day,” says Lisa.
