A Romantic Purple Wedding at Aliso Viejo Country Club in Aliso Viejo, California

Purple was the color of romance at the wedding of Tina Palacios (32 and in insurance sales) and Cory Neubauer (39 and a project manager). Their beautiful summer wedding, which was photographed by Courtney McManaway Photography, took place at the Aliso Viejo Country Club in Orange County, California. With the help of Designs by Tricia and J Bird Events, Tina and Cory primarily used hydrangeas and orchids in their floral design. The outdoor ceremony aisle was lined with crystal vases of purple hydrangeas hanging from shepherd's hooks, and the altar was indicated by pillars with large, purple arrangements of hydrangeas, branches and orchid blooms. At the reception, which was held indoors at the country club, centerpieces consisted of an array of cylinder vases filled with purple orchids and floating candles. Tina carried a bouquet of purple and white calla lilies and stock flowers with her trumpet style Oleg Cassini wedding dress. "We didn't have a particular theme at our wedding," Tina says. "All we wanted was romance. We wanted to share our day with our loved ones and we hoped that they saw the love between us."
