A Romantic, Pastel Spring Wedding at Venuti's Ristorante & Banquet Hall in Addison, Illinois

Kim Peters (29 and a sales manager) and Jim Funk (31 and a senior product manager) held their wedding at Venuti's Ristorante & Banquet Hall in Addison, Illinois, because they loved the venue's decor and atmosphere. "The entrance to the building has a grand staircase and a unique look. The reception room was surrounded by windows and connected to a great patio that we knew our guests would enjoy at our spring wedding," Kim says. A palette of mint green and pale yellow and soft, romantic bouquets filled with white roses, hydrangeas, and tulips also fit the spring season. After the traditional ceremony, where the couple lit a unity candle together, guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour while the wedding party cruised around in a party bus arranged by Kim and Jim. For dinner, guests enjoyed a choice of tortilla-crusted tilapia or chicken marsala. And for dessert, instead of a traditional wedding cake, everyone enjoyed chocolate raspberry and lemon cake pops.
