A Romantic Outdoor Wedding at The Inn at Fernbrook Farms in Chesterfield, New Jersey

Jacqueline (Jackie) Leung (26 and an interior designer) and Timothy (Tim) Huth (27 and a lighting designer) chose not to limit their wedding with a theme, instead focusing on an “elegant, but casual” vibe and light colors. Jackie designed the stationery by painting a watercolor background that appeared on the invitations, programs, menus and other related paper. She also calligraphed each invitation’s address as well as the escort cards: agate slices color coded according to menu choice. The couple kept their colors mostly neutral with pops of pastels, except for their outfits. For the reception, Jackie changed into a traditional Chinese cheongsam. The couple chose unconventional but more personal songs for their ceremony. Jackie, Tim and their wedding party processed to “The Throne Room,” composed by John Williams for Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. They walked back up the aisle to a string quartet rendition of Muse’s “Starlight.” Because their wedding was held on a working farm, the bride and groom gave their venue free reign with the cocktail hour and reception menus in order to have the freshest local food possible.
