Florence Wright (31 and a clinical social worker) and Nick Evans (33 and a hydrologist) chose a nature-inspired palette and plenty of greenery for their wedding that was romantic and timeless. “We’re a pretty laid-back, nontraditional couple, and we wanted our wedding day to really reflect who we are,” Florence says. “Our florist told us she had never ordered so much greenery for a wedding before!” The couple used a “less is more” approach at the reception, allowing draped café lights and pewter table runners to highlight the barn’s natural beauty. Guests ate a light and seasonal menu while sipping signature cocktails and dancing to one of the couple’s favorite bands since they started dating. The dessert buffet consisted of cupcakes, cookies, and doughnuts, in addition to a small cutting cake.
