A Romantic Outdoor Wedding at a Private Residence in Alberta, Canada

Vanessa (22, a Teacher) and Wyatt (26, a Firefighter Paramedic) both wanted an outdoor wedding so they decided to hold their wedding at Wyatt's parent's farm, which fit in with the romantic, country theme they wanted for their wedding. A color palette of navy, gray and light pink brought out the soft, romantic vibe of their gorgeous location. The ceremony held a lot of significance for the couple. "Our ceremony probably reflects us the best, as we are a couple who values family, our upbringing and our hopes of have a farm in the future," Vanessa says. After cocktail hour with a signature rose colored drink inspired by Vanessa and Wyatt's love for spiced rum, everyone enjoyed a dinner of prime rib, turkey, potatoes and rice followed by a chocolate black forest cake (yum!). "Overall, we felt that our day was quaint, with a good mix of formal and laid back, country fun!" Vanessa says.
