A Romantic, Natural Wedding at Crystal Springs in Magnolia, Texas

Kimberly Rawlinson (26 and a program specialist) and Joseph Rice (27 and in IT) got engaged in front of the giant Texas flag made from Christmas lights at Santa’s Wonderland, a place they plan to return each year to celebrate milestones in their lives together. They were married at Crystal Springs in Magnolia, Texas. A color palette of wisteria purple, ivory and silver created a soft, romantic atmosphere in the natural space. Kimberly wore a Snow White-inspired ball gown to feel like a princess on her wedding day, and her groom wore a classic black tuxedo to fit the occasion. Following the outdoor ceremony, the couple enjoyed a classic Texas barbecue meal with their guests. In addition to a wedding cake and a Texas A&M-inspired groom’s cake, the bridal party and family of the bride’s provided the couple’s favorite pies for dessert. The DJ was sure to include the Aggie War Hymn in the music playlist to get the couple’s friends and family on the dance floor to ‘saw Varsity’s horns off.’ As springtime wedding favors, Kimberly and Joseph sent each of their guests home with a mason jar with a packet of flower seeds that read: “Please plant these seeds and watch them bloom, just like the love of the bride and groom!”
