A Romantic Mountaintop Wedding at Burritt on the Mountain in Huntsville, Alabama

The elegant mountaintop wedding of Brooke Alderman (25 and a network engineer) and Fielding Alderman (24 and a purchasing manager) was a dream come true for the bride. “Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to get married on top of Monte Sano Mountain in Huntsville, Alabama, overlooking the city where I grew up,” says Brooke. She and Fielding hosted their classically elegant wedding at Burritt on the Mountain and had their ceremony under a white gazebo on the edge of the mountain. With her wedding at her dream venue, Brooke went on to choose her gown from her dream dress store. “Shortly after getting engaged, I immediately knew I wanted to try on gowns at Winnie Couture first!” says the bride. She found a strapless lace wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline and buttons all the way down the back. “It was everything I had always dreamed of!” A color palette of navy, ivory and blush created the elegant, romantic atmosphere at the reception, which took place inside the ballroom with scenic views. As a special tribute to Fielding’s tastes, Brooke surprised her groom at the wedding with not one but two desserts! She gave him an Auburn-themed groom’s cake, and at the end of the night, Krispy Kreme doughnuts were served. According to Brooke, “Guests left the reception with a note that said, ‘Hot and delicious from the new Mr. & Mrs!’”
