A Romantic Mountainside Wedding at The 10th in Vail, Colorado

Emily and Brett Delay both grew up visiting Colorado and consider it their second home, so they opted for a mountainside wedding at The 10th in Vail. Their aesthetic was romantic and elegant with plenty of natural beauty, "We did our best to complement the architectural details of The 10th without obstructing or pulling focus from the incredible view," Emily says. The ceremony had a stunning panorama of the mountain range, and it was simply accented with arrangements of white delphiniums along the aisle. The flowers grew darker as guests moved throughout the cocktail area and reception, culminating with the deepest tones on the dance floor and lounge. "I wanted the flowers to be treated like art installations, so we requested a lot of sculptural elements in the arrangements and used lighting to create a gallery feel," Emily says. The reception also featured elegant farm tables, romantic pink rose centerpieces and an espresso bar for dessert. Emily wore a "sculptural and modern" ball gown with her rose gold engagement ring, a low bun and bold eye makeup. Brett chose a blue made-to-measure suit with a gold tie clip.
