A Romantic Mountainside Wedding at Castle Hill Cider in Keswick, Virginia
After dating for 10 years, high school sweethearts Jamie Kuang (26) and Min Jung (26 and a US Army Ranger) tied the knot in a romantic mountainside ceremony at Castle Hill Cider in the beautiful countryside of Keswick, Virginia. “We chose the venuebecause of the views and the setting,” Jamie says. “Where better to have the ceremony than in the tree grove surrounded by the mountains?” The couple created a romantic aesthetic by blending lush blooms and greenery with a palette of green, rose, gold, blush and wine. “We didn’t have a specific theme or style, but we did have a lot of elements to signify completeness and eternity,” Jamie says. For example, in lieu of a ceremony arch, the couple had their floral designer create a giant floral wreath. “The focus was definitely the amazing floral ring,” Jamie says of the ceremony decor. And for the reception, large “chandeliers” of greenery and love lies bleeding hung from the rafters. Rustic details included farm tables and cross-back chairs, along with wooden-bear cake toppers. —Marissa Hermanson
