Dana Braytenbah (31 and a cosmetics coordinator for a plastic surgeon) and Jay Lappen's (37 and a medical-device sales manager) wedding was a fusion of whimsical details and romantic touches. This blend of styles was highlighted by a light and airy palette of lavender, ivory, gray and peach that was perfect for their springtime celebration. To set the tone for their wedding, Dana and Jay added pretty purple lace details to their invitations. The lace echoed Dana's beautiful lace Stella York dress. Dana's cascading bouquet was whimsical but romantic, with lush pastel flowers, eucalyptus, succulents and silver brunia. Her bridesmaids carried similar bouquets and wore various styles of Alfred Angelo dresses in different shades of purple. For their reception, Dana and Jay chose a venue that was unmistakably Baltimore: The Star-Spangled Banner Flag House, a historic museum by the Inner Harbor, was the perfect place to celebrate their love and showcase their favorite city. They transformed its hall into an intimate, romantic space by illuminating it with purple uplighting and candlelight from lantern centerpieces. As a treat, Dana and Jay served their guests a lavender ombre wedding cake and a signature drink, Ladera Punch, which they discovered while traveling in St. Lucia. Mari Harsan Studios was there to capture all the gorgeous details.

Dana and Jay's invitations featured a lavender border and an infinity motif. The pocket envelopes were decorated with purple lace.
Dana wore an A-line Stella York wedding dress with lace details and lace straps, which she bought at Amanda Ritchey Bridal. She paired her dress with a fingertip veil for the ceremony.
In keeping with the theme of whimsical romance, Dana carried a lush, cascading bouquet in shades of white, ivory, blush, peach and lavender. The flower arrangement was made up of peonies, hydrangeas, roses, ranunculus, astilbes, succulents, Queen Anne's lace and eucalyptus leaves.
Jay dressed in a gray suit on his wedding day. He paired his suit with a lavender tie to match the color palette.
Dana's bridesmaids wore various Alfred Angelo dresses, each in a different shade of purple.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets that echoed Dana's bridal bouquet. They were made up of peach, lavender and blush roses, pink and purple stock, astilbes, purple hydrangeas, silver brunia and Queen Anne's lace.
Dana wore her hair in a chignon with a braid crown on her wedding day. Over the crown, she wore an elegant crystal-embellished headband.
Centerpieces at the reception were made up of lanterns with candles that were surrounded by peach and lavender roses and other flowers. For a whimsical touch, the framed purple table numbers were written out in an assortment of buttons.
For dessert, Dana and Jay served a cake frosted with lavender ombre buttercream.
