A Romantic, Intimate Wedding at The Bowery Hotel in New York City

Paige Saperstein and Robert Guinn let New York City inspire the style and theme of their wedding, which took place at the historic Bowery Hotel. “The minute you walked into the lobby, it felt very old-world New York with plush couches and dim lighting,” the couple says. “We really wanted our guests to feel like they were enjoying a drink by the fire surrounded by the velvet curtains and tapestries.” The ceremony took place under a flower-filled chuppah, and the space was transformed into a European-inspired dining room for the reception. “Guests sat at long tables, as we wanted to create an inclusive space where everyone could chat and mingle,” the couple says. “The string lights hung above made it feel like we were dining under the stars, even though we were inside.” Dramatic flower centerpieces were surrounded by candles, strings of grapes and pomegranates. Guests enjoyed Miami-inspired elements (as a nod to where the couple met) such as mojitos and Latin music—and they ended the night by binging on gelato and Shake Shack.
