Morgan Thomas (23 and an ABA therapist) met Ryan Matthews (25 and a professional baseball player) over twitter when she retweeted one of his tweets. "Ryan realized we had mutual friends and messaged me on Facebook," says Morgan. "Maybe it was a pick up line but he said, 'I'm trying to decide whether you're real or not. A girl who loves Jesus, is beautiful and athletic...' and we began a close friendship for over a year. After another year of officially dating, Ryan proposed to Morgan by walking her around a baseball field, describing their relationship at every base. When they got to home plate, he got down on one knee and presented her with an engraved bat and a stunning engagement ring. During their four months of wedding planning, the couple searched for a venue that was rustic-yet-romantic before they found the Old Cigar Warehouse in Greenville, South Carolina. An exposed brick wall and minimal black wine barrels served as an industrial-chic backdrop for the indoor ceremony. "I'm a fairly simple girl so it was so refreshing knowing that the Old Cigar Warehouse wouldn't require a lot of decor," says Morgan. "It was simply beautiful on its own!" A mint and green color palette with pops of peach warmed with loft-like space while glowing candles from lantern centerpieces completed the romantic look.

"Because cake isn't our first choice for dessert, we instead decided to have a dessert table with chocolate chip cookies, brownies with a hint of icing and cupcakes," says Morgan.
