A Romantic, Industrial Wedding at The Lofts at Union Square in High Point, North Carolina

Renee Harvey (21 and in public relations and marketing) and PJ Harvey (22 and a high school youth pastor) took the industrial furniture-showroom-turned-wedding-venue, The Lofts at Union Square, and created a romantic affair. Gambol Photography captured their special day that was filled with blush tones and twinkling lights. "I wanted it to feel like a romantic rooftop," Renee says. Renee spotted blush anemones with navy centers on Pinterest and used them as inspiration for their blush, white, cream and navy color palette. Plants and Answers Florist created the blush and white bouquets and boutonnieres using roses, ranunculus and succulents. Renee's mother visited the local farmer's market the morning of the wedding and created the ceremony aisle decorations and centerpieces with a variety of white flowers. "PJ and I both wanted to combine our industrial venue with a lot of natural elements and light," Renee says. Along with the beautiful flowers, candlelight and cracked glass elements added that romantic touch the couple was looking for. Keeping with this style, Renee wore a strapless Wtoo by Watters ball gown. "In the end, it went with our theme perfectly," Renee says. "It was unique and very soft compared to the industrial venue." Renee's mother custom made a sash to add to the dress that Renee intends to pass down to her own children. "It was such a special moment sitting and talking with my mom in her living room as she created it," Renee says. What Renee found most special about her wedding day was the personal vows PJ and her wrote for one another. "There's really nothing like promising your life to the person you love and hearing them do it in return," she says. "I'll never forgot those moments."
