A Romantic Glam Wedding at Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary, Florida

A lofty, wood-beamed ceiling, a grand fireplace and sweeping vistas were just three reasons why Jessica Greene (28 and a public affairs coordinator) and Ryan Dourney (28 and a licensing director) immediately booked the Timacuan Golf Club in Lake Mary, Florida, for their October nuptials. “The venue is beautiful and really speaks for itself,” Jessica says of the recently renovated venue. Glam metallic details and worn-wood accents brought Jessica and Ryan’s elegant affair to life, along with a few ultrapersonal details that gave the day's events a sentimental feel. “I pinned a small photo of my dad to my bouquet,” Jessica says. “He passed away when I was in high school, so that was my way of having him walk me down the aisle.” Other distinctive details included custom menu cards and a rare sighting of the couple’s college mascot during dinner. “The University of Central Florida mascot, Knightro, came to our cocktail hour and danced during the reception,” Jessica says. “We’re huge fans, so it was a surprise to us and our guests." —Rachel Sylvester
