A Romantic Glam Wedding at the Quat Quatta in Ripponlea, Victoria
When Cindy (28 and an executive assistant) met Norman (28 and a financial analyst) in 2011, the two hit it off immediately. "It all started with a casual conversation that night which led to several very exciting dates," Cindy explains. Two years passed before Norman popped the question while on the shores of Lake Daylesford with friends. "The experience was so exhilarating for the both of us," Cindy says. "It was that kind of unbridled joy that makes you smile and laugh for no reason at all, for hours on end. We both felt we had finally found someone that we could spend the rest of our lives with. It was the start of a long and wonderful journey." For their January nuptials, the two tied the knot at the Quat Quatta in Ripponlea, Victoria. "We really wanted a daytime wedding given the beautiful time of the year," Cindy explains. "The venue was absolutely stunning during the day with its classic facade and garden." Even though the boutique venue was somewhat small in size, the space felt very intimate. "We chose a color palette that revolved around the venue, day and Pronovias dress," the bride says. "We just wanted soft, floral colors that complemented a daytime wedding in an elegant setting." Catering was provided by the venue and guests dined on duck and lobster ravioli before celebrating with the couple's favorite live band, Ruby Tuesday. "It was the highlight of our day," Cindy says. "They had amazing vocals and dance moves!"
