A Romantic Geometric Wedding with a Rustic Twist at 128 South in Wilmington, North Carolina

Melissa Yelverton (25 and a digital marketing manager) and Andrew Cain (25 and a professional baseball player) planned a relaxed, fall fete filled with romantic peach and gold details.

The couple’s ring bearers, Finn and Kellan, have been a part of Melissa’s life since she began babysitting them at just 7 weeks old. “They’re both special to me, so they had to be a part of my day,” she says of the suspender-clad brothers. “I wanted them to look cute and make our guests smile.”

“I wanted my overall look to feel effortless since it was important for me to feel comfortable,” Melissa says of her casual, boho-chic style. A sleeveless, ivory lace gown complete with a plunging back detail did the trick. “I own maxi dresses that weigh more than my wedding gown!” she says.
