A Romantic Garden Wedding at Terrain in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania

A traditional venue was out of the question for Ruth Montesines (27 and a pre-doctoral research fellow) and Matthew Ziegler (30 and a health and P.E. teacher), who passed on a ballroom in favor of Terrain—an elegant yet rustic horticultural setting that’s home to a nursery and farm-to-table food. Rose-gold foil gave the botanical-inspired invitation suite a subtle bit of shine. A circular altar framed Ruth and Matt for the ceremony and afterward, friends sang “Helpless” from the Hamilton musical as the newlyweds walked back up the aisle hand-in-hand. Sage green and peach florals played up the interior of the wood-lined reception space, while cross-back chairs and ceramic centerpieces lent a decidedly pastoral vibe to the chic setup.
