A Romantic Garden Wedding at Noriega House in Bakersfield, California
Breanna Hudspeth (23 a pediatric and neonatal nurse) and Bryce Campbell (22 a firefighter) initially met when Bryce was being set up with Breanna’s best friend. Months after building a strong friendship and wanting to see where it led, Breanna and Bryce went hiking on their first date. Seven months later, the couple visited The Point Fermin Lighthouse in San Pedro, California. Bryce hired a photographer and proposed to Breanna with a custom-made diamond ring with a smaller princess cut diamond on each side. Once she said yes, Bryce surprised her again by throwing a surprise dinner party that same night with all their close family and friends. The couple had their wedding at The Noriega House in Bakersfield, California where they had a large outdoor ceremony and reception area surrounded by the landscaped gardens. A palette of pink, gray and navy colored created the classic garden wedding that the couple envisioned. Flower arrangements of anemones, astilbes, peonies, hydrangeas and many others in shades of white and pink decorated the space. Guests took home a variety of organic honey sticks from the “honey bar” the couple had put together. Last but not least, the four-tiered cake with flavors of vanilla bean with Oreo, coffee with chocolate and funfunetti with white chocolate left was a huge hit!
