Melanie  met Auggie through a grand gesture: After Auggie spotted her sitting alone at the movies, he sat down next to her. .The couple marked their spot with a pink velvet tablecloth, climbing greenery and floating candles. Melanie and Auggie followed their dance to Maxwell’s “Lifetime” with high-energy hip-hop hits. “We had to play classics from our hometowns of Chicago and DC,” Melanie says. After eating slices of raspberry champagne, red velvet and lemon cake, the newlyweds served churros as a late-night treat.
