Although Jana Yama (28 and in interior design) and Bryce Covert's (28 and a software developer) interests and personalities differed, they shared a love for gardening and beautiful flowers. So as they planned their wedding at Palmdale Estates in Fremont, California, Jana and Bryce wanted to highlight this, and there was no better place than a garden. Guests got a preview of the romantic, garden-inspired theme through the purple invitations, which displayed their silhouettes surrounded by a floral wreath, a design used on all the stationery. The day began in the sunken gardens on the property, where Joleen Willis Photography captured Jana and Bryce at the wrought iron gazebo surrounded by the natural landscaping. Love Blooms played a key role in bringing their romantic, garden-inspired setting to life through the bouquets and boutonnieres worn by the wedding party. The reception that followed took place on the venue's patio, where hanging glass votive candles and string lights draped from the ceiling. Although each detail contributed to the overall romantic style of the garden-inspired wedding, the one-of-a-kind cake completely won us over. Each layer on the three-tier masterpiece had a different natural design decorating its surface, plus a pink rose arrangement with a glass cover on top. The purple invitations gave guests a glimpse into the romantic occasion, especially with a book design that gave off a fairytale feel. A silhouette design of a man and a woman displayed on the front, surrounded by a floral wreath design that incorporated the garden theme as well.
Jana selected an ivory cap-sleeve dress with a gorgeous lace overlay. She exited the mansion where she got ready with bouquet in hand, ready to get the ceremony started.
Leafy greens and red raspberries filled wrought iron lanterns that dangled from iron hooks. These decorations lined the outdoor aisle, leading to the gazebo where Jana and Bryce said "I do."

The flower girl pranced down the aisle during the ceremony, holding her basket filled with petals that she sprinkled as she walked. The young blonde even embodied a romantic look through her light pink lace dress.
Love Blooms arranged a bouquet filled with pink, burgundy and white flowers, mixed with overflowing greenery. The flower arrangement went with the romantic, garden-inspired theme.
A purple and white sign greeted guests as they entered the historic mansion, which welcomed all into the space. Floral designs accented the sign's sides, and the cursive font went along with the day's romantic look.
The bridesmaids huddled around Jana, wearing dark purple dresses accented with lace, designed by BHLDN. They all held on to their bouquets, which matched Jana's romantic arrangement.
Jana and Bryce shared a kiss on the steps in front of Palmdale Estates in Fremont, California, which dates 100 years. The building showcased Tudor-style architecture that brought a certain charm to the occasion.
