A Romantic Fall Wedding at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester, Massachusetts

Audrena (29 and a nanny) still can't believe she got married to her high school crush, Tim (32 and a land surveyor). They met as teenagers while working part-time at the same bakery, and Audrena was immediately taken with him. They went their separate ways for college without so much as a thought, but twelve years later, they found each other again. Tim moved into an apartment in Boston around the corner from Audrena, so they started hanging out regularly. When Audrena was really sick, Tim came over to look after her, and she says, "I knew then, even in my sick state, that he would be the one that would be there to take care of me always. They dated for three years before Tim proposed the day before Thanksgiving. Audrena came home from work to find him standing in the living room with a dozen roses in his hand and an important question on the tip of his tongue. "I was very happy it was a low-key, at home proposal. Anything else wouldn't have been true to who we are as a couple," Audrena explains. They got married near their hometown at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester, Massachusetts with a ceremony held in the non-denominational chapel and a reception in the elegant ballroom. Audrena wore a spectacular Jim Hjelm gown with a natural waist and petal-embroidered skirt, which she paired with a fingertip-length veil and a Twigs & Honey headband. When it came to the theme, she says, "I am a hopeless romantic who is in love with love, so I knew I wanted to create a storybook romance type of feeling." Fall-colored floral arrangements incorporated lush red roses and protea that paired with vintage books, ribbons, and mirrors for dramatic wedding decor. From top to bottom, Audrena and Tim's wedding gushed with romance and elegance.
