A Romantic Fall Wedding at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, Georgia

Katie Sutter (23 and a wellness specialist) met Eric Gerrits (23 and an engineer) at Auburn University during a mutual friend's birthday party. A year-and-a-half later, Eric proposed to Katie with a rose gold Tacori engagement ring during a family beach getaway and the pair began planning their fall Atlanta nuptials. Katie and Eric exchanged vows at Christ the King Cathedral in Atlanta followed by an elegant reception at Primrose Cottage. "We fell in love with the cathedral's vaulted ceilings and knew it would be the perfect venue to profess our love to one another," says Katie. "The reception was mostly in the reception hall for the dinner and events portion of the evening, but the outside gardens made a lovely backdrop for the cocktail hour with the sun setting behind it." The couple wanted to combine a down-home southern charm feel with an air of timeless sophistication, and worked with a classic pink and ivory color palette. Mixed high and low garden rose, rose and hydrangea arrangements popped against the simple ivory linens. At the end of the night, guests were treated to bride and groom decorated chocolate covered Oreos before the couple made their grand exit.
