A Romantic, English Hunt Wedding at Charlotte City Club in Charlotte, North Carolina

Ashley Lawrence (28 and a clinical social worker) and Joseph Walsh (28 and a financial software support representative) wanted romance and classic elegance for their wedding, but with a twist: Ashley used artwork of horses and the English Hunt as inspiration. "I grew up riding horses and I have always been in love with "Hunt Scene" artwork," she explains. A color palette of ivory, green, pinot noir, and blush mixed with brass and silver brought the couple's romantic vision to life. The reception tables were filled with candles in brass and silver holders, adding to the romantic atmosphere, and the bouquets were filled with silver brunia, eucalyptus, dusty miller, kiss roses, Queen Ann's Lace, and hydrangeas. Ashley's J. Crew ivory ballgown was inspired by classic icons like Chanel, Dior, and Jackie Onassis. The bridesmaids wore light pink silk dresses with pinot noir wraps to combat the brisk weather. After a traditional ceremony at St. Peter's Catholic Church, everyone enjoyed a cocktail hour and dinner on the second floor of their venue, with gorgeous views of the city below.
