A Romantic DIY Wedding at 5120 Restaurant in Bloomington, Minnesota

Devon Adrian (39, a Graphic Designer) and Tom Patrek (42, Sales) wanted a wedding that had a lot of personalized, handmade details. Devon, a devoted crafter and DIY-er, created most of the wedding details herself: she designed the invitations, arranged the vintage aqua jar centerpieces, designed the sandwich chalkboard program sign and created a gorgeous card box designed to look like a tiered wedding cake! The most amazing DIY project Devon created for the wedding were the paper flowers. Using crepe paper, tissue paper and even coffee filters, Devon folded and hand painted paper peonies and anemones for the bouquets and centerpiece arrangements. "I love how beautiful and unique paper flowers look and love that I can have them as a keepsake!" Devon says. The handmade details of Devon and Tom's wedding made "it all the more personalized and special," Devon says.
