A Romantic Destination Wedding at 108 Budleigh in Manteo, North Carolina

When Jessica Brooks (30 and a radiation therapist) and Adam Brooks (29 and a medical physicist) saw 108 Budleigh in the Outer Banks—Manteo, North Carolina—they knew they wanted to get married there. They loved the stunning beach views and the giant ballroom for their 150 guests, and the destination wedding really felt like they were getting away. The couple worked with Gena Martin from Platinum Party Planning, and it definitely took the pressure off Jessica and Adam. “The best advice I can give is to hire a wedding planner,” Jessica says. “Our wedding planner helped to make the process of wedding planning easier and fun. As a result, we were able to relax and enjoy our wedding day. A wedding planner is worth every penny.” We love the stunning floral arrangements from Renee Landry Events that perfectly captured the romantic white, blush and gray palette with muted, round bouquets and vintage-inspired centerpieces. Another standout detail? The simply gorgeous four-tier chocolate eclair and vanilla buttercream cake from Just Desserts. The bottom layer was decorated with buttercream rosettes for a romantic touch.
