A Romantic Church Wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tillamook, Oregon
Kayla Jenck (25 and a dance teacher) and Brian Jenck (25 and a mechanic/dairy farmer) were introduced through Kayla’s father while they were at a Smash Mouth concert. They exchanged numbers by the end of the night and didn’t stop talking since. When the couple was moving into the new house Brian’s family had built on their farm, Brian knew it was the right time to propose to Kayla. Brian mentioned they were going to take “first home pictures” and led Kayla to an empty cupboard where she found a proposal note. Kayla and Brian got married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tillamook, Oregon, where Brian attended service as a child. The pink, gold and off-white color palette was inspired by Kayla’s passion for dancing ballet ever since she was young. Peonies and roses made up the bouquets, boutonnieres and flower arrangements throughout the wedding day. Kayla walked down the aisle wearing a Casablanca ivory wedding dress with tulle sleeves and a floral patterned overlay. As guests entered the reception, vintage wedding photos of family members welcomed them into the night’s celebration. Due to Kayla’s dancing background, the couple choreographed a routine to “You’re The One That I Want” in front of their guests for their first dance.
