A Romantic Caribbean Wedding at Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentzville, Missouri

Monique Gilliam (29 and a MBA and a public health graduate student) and Nigel Thomas (37 and a software developer) chose a fun and romantic theme for their wedding with special tributes to things they love woven throughout the decor, food, and entertainment: love letters and New York touches throughout the decor, Caribbean music and food, and a color palette of blue and orange inspired by sunset. The ceremony was held outdoors, Monique's uncles walked her down the aisle to her father, who then gave her to her mother, all while Nigel serenaded the procession by playing the steel drums. Dinner was a delicious buffet of Caribbean food including goat, beef patties, chicken patties, rice and beans, barbeque backed chicken, rum cake, and more!
