A Romantic, Bohemian Winter Wedding at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, New Jersey

Cassandra Morris (33 and a voice actor) and Steve Ruchelman’s (36 and a music producer) unique venue played a key role in creating a whimsical Gatsbyesque vibe for their charming winter wedding.

“It almost felt like getting married in an art museum,” Cassandra says of TPC Jasna Polana. “Since we got married in February, the venue had to be impressive on the inside. It was the perfect setting for a winter wedding.”

Cassandra wore a beaded, ivory sheath and a fur stole to keep warm. “I felt like an art deco, Gatsby starlet,” she said.

The bridesmaids carried full bunches of dark pink and purple blooms and seasonal greens.

An oversize organic tapestry gave the ceremony room a cool, natural feel. “Our floral designer added tons of greenery in front of it, so it made the tapestry look like it was coming to life,” Cassandra says. A white runner led her down the aisle to Steve, and an antique wood desk served as a backdrop for their vows.

Vintage clocks appeared on reception tables to symbolize that this was one of the greatest moments in the couple’s lives.

Baskets of fresh fruit on beds of winter greens were the focal point of the tablescapes. “We didn’t want anything to be too over the top, so we really balanced the sparkly fabulousness of my dress and the abundance of food and drinks with natural centerpieces and the timeless venue,” Cassandra says.

The couple topped their naked red velvet cake with bride and groom PEZ dispensers.
