A Romantic Blush Wedding at Sainte Terre in Bossier Parish, Louisiana

Abby LeLeux and Tyler Ingram’s barn wedding at Sainte Terre in Bossier Parish, Louisiana, had a recurring motif: roses. The flower first showed up in a large wreath that served as the backdrop for Abby and Tyler’s vows, and it matched the celebration’s color palette of blush, pink and white. “The color palette actually came from my beautiful Hayley Paige dress that had hints of blush,” Abby says. The soft pink bridesmaid dresses and the ceremony programs finished off with a botanical print also nodded to the rosy theme. At the reception, roses wrapped around three hanging chandeliers, and roses and carnations created a show-stopping floral wall behind the sweetheart table. “I remember the tears that came to my eyes once I saw the finished product on my wedding day,” Abby says. “We kept everything else simple with lanterns and candles throughout.” Later, guests took a break from dancing to eat a three-tier white cake with pink flower elements, paired with an eclectic groom’s cake celebrating Mississippi State.

Our favorite #MakeTradition Moment: “We decided not to call or text each other on our wedding day to make the suspense even bigger,” Abby says. “Instead, we wrote each other a card to say how excited we both were to marry each other.”
