A Romantic, Beach-Themed Wedding at Cannons in Dana Point, California

Our breath was taken away by the surrounding views of Dana Point Harbor in Dana Point, California, that served as the perfect backdrop for this romantic, beach-themed wedding. Tatiana Biryukova (26) and Andrey Solovyev (25) shared a love for the ocean and knew they wanted to get married near the water, which was the main reason they chose Cannons, a seafood grill on a cliff overlooking the harbor. The ceremony and reception both took place on the patio of the venue, decorated in a soft palette of peach and white. For the wedding-party attire, bridesmaids wore floor-length nude dresses designed by Donna Morgan and the groomsmen sported classic black tuxedos with matching bow ties, adding a twist of classic glamour to the occasion that was captured by Vitaly M Photography. Tatiana had a simple, elegant round bouquet arranged with ivory garden roses, which were also incorporated into table centerpieces of ranunculus, roses, silver brunia and dusty miller. Starfish were attached to corners of ivory escort cards and shells accented netting draped at the reception. We spotted simplistic rustic touches of burlap and lace as well, contributing to the overall beach theme that was seen throughout the space. “There was burlap and lace around the flower vases, and all the banners were made out of burlap,” Tatiana says. “I think the simplicity of rustic went along with beach theme very well.”
