A Relaxed, Nautical Wedding at Hank's Pasta Bar in Alexandria, Virginia

Jamie Leeds (54 and a restauranteur) and Tina McDaniel (40 and a communications consultant) embraced their love of the sea with a cool color palette for their nuptials in Jamie’s newest restaurant.

“We chose the restaurant to christen the space with love, joy and happiness,” Jamie says of their “I dos” at Hank’s Pasta Bar. Planning the wedding at the eatery also played to the couple’s advantage—they had total flexibility to bring in their favorite local vendors, like inviting Jamie’s chef friends to set up food stations instead of a formal, sit-down dinner. “Food was the star of the reception,” she says.

Jamie sported a custom suit with a satin shirt, and Tina donned a gown embellished with floral appliqués.

Flowers were placed in aqua and white vases alongside sea glass and candles.
