A Refined, Rustic Wedding at Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina

Inspired by 17th-century France, Macie Gaston (25 and an account manager) and Richard Gaston (24 and a health care administrator) found a gorgeous balance between glamorous and rustic for their waterfront wedding. Metallic chiavari chairs were paired with wooden farm tables at the reception, elegant gold script stationery adorned bundles of dried lavender for the escort cards, and crystal candle votives added plenty of romance to the textured white floral centerpieces. One of our favorite details, though, was the stunning baroque-style chapel windows and doors that framed the outdoor ceremony space at Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina. Macie and Richard always dreamed of getting married in a church, but also really wanted to exchange vows in the place they met. Their event designer, Big Top Entertainment, allowed them to have the best of both worlds—and we love it. And don't get us started on Macie's stunning champagne-colored silk and beaded lace dress with strands of pearls across the back.
