A Refined Rustic Wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Avon, Colorado
Liza Reiber (25 and a court judicial assistant) wanted to have a destination wedding and Chip Reiber (24 and a fisheries technician) wanted to get married at their local ski resort. The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch in Avon, Colorado, was the perfect compromise. “The location caught our eye right away because of its beauty and rustic feel,” Liza says. “It was the perfect in-between: in the mountains, but still away from home. We both fell in love with it instantly. We had the perfect outdoor ceremony within the Rocky Mountain backdrop and green aspen trees all around.” Liza and Chip worked with Kelly Mendenhall from 3 Leaf Floral to create the stunning arrangements, including peach and white blooms that matched the pastel color palette. We love how the couple added local touches throughout the decor such as wildflowers in the florals and a High Country Kombucha keg (Rainforest Nectar flavor) for cocktail hour. Loving exotic, fun flavors, Liza and Chip also enjoyed a vanilla passion fruit cake with lemon raspberry and carrot on the other two layers. The cake was as beautiful as it was delicious with textured buttercream and peach roses on the outside. There are so many details we love—see them all, beautifully captured by Cat Mayer Studio, below.
