Bryna Rene Haynes (33 and a writer, editor, and musician) and Matthew Haynes (33 and an entrepreneur and gondolier) met in the fifth grade, however were separated when Bryna's family moved to a rural suburb. They remained friends through middle and high school, but lost track of one another after graduation. Fifteen years later, Matthew sent Bryna a Facebook message on her birthday. That led to them meeting for tea, then lunch, then dinner...and the rest was history. After nine months of dating, Bryna and Matthew decided to move in together. After a romantic dinner, Matthew convinced Bryna to walk home the long way to see their new apartment. In front of the home that they would soon be sharing together, Matthew got down on one knee with a private and perfectly symbolic proposal. Bryna and Matthew wanted to keep their wedding classic yet modern, so they kept a simple color palette of black and white with accents of red throughout. Red was prominent in the bouquets and centerpieces, following through to Bryna's stunning strapless wedding gown with red embroidered flower detailing. Their wedding and reception was held at Cafe Nuovo in Providence, Rhode Island. Being major foodies, Bryna and Matthew loved how the restaurant had a made to order menu, instead of already chosen entrees, and the guests appreciated it just as much! "Two years later, my friends and family are still awed by the food. They were so thrilled to be treated to a delicious, thoughtfully-chosen dinner," says Bryna.

Bride's Luscious Blonde Curls Getting Ready for Ceremony
Bryna found her white wedding gown with red floral embroidery and jewels on a rack of discontinued designer samples.
"I wanted something with pizzazz and a splash of color, but nothing too gaudy or risqué," says Bryna.
For the ceremony, the aisle was lined with red roses in simple, square black glass vases.
"Under my dress, I wore knee-high lace-up black boots. Ankle support and warm toes in November make for a happy bride," says Bryna.
Despite missing their cocktail hour to take pictures, the guests were served bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with Gorgonzola cheese. The chef also made fresh hummus from an old family recipe.

"I loved that Brendan Lafferty of B-Sharp Entertainment wasn't obtrusive and didn't sound like a game show host," says Bryna.
Guests got to order what they wanted for dinner in the moment, instead of having to choose beforehand.
"We're foodies, and Nuovo is one of the best restaurants in the city," says Bryna.
