A Rainbow of Color Filled This Bohemian Wedding at The Ranch at Laguna Beach in California

Business owners Brittany and Mike meet-cute is truly one of modern love. “We met through mutual friends and started tagging each other in memes on Instagram,” Brittany laughs. One year after Mike proposed, the pair wed under the trees at The Ranch at Laguna Beach with Brittany’s daughter by their side. “Mike said his own vows to her, and that really solidified us as a family,” Brittany says. “It was my favorite moment of the day.” Brittany and Mike’s love for bright hues inspired the day’s boho-elegant design, which incorporated velvet linens, wicker chargers, brass accents and wood table numbers. “We wanted a bright, happy celebration that reflected us as a couple,” Brittany says. “No detail was left untouched, and it all came together in a cool way.” The ranch’s secluded canyonside location felt “peaceful, private and perfect for our out-of-town guests,” Brittany says. Instead of pairing her lace gown with heels or sandals, Brittany opted for bedazzled Nikes. “Mike and I both collect sneakers, so I surprised him with my custom kicks,” she says. “Here I was in this unbelievable couture gown with sneakers underneath. It felt so ‘me,’ and I was so comfortable.” Brittany’s untamed bouquet featured a vibrant mix of craspedia, dahlias, lisianthus and gloriosa lilies.
