Sara Pockstaller (30 and a teacher) and Josh Bruschi (29 and a US postal worker) had a fabulous rustic wedding in shades of purple. It took place at the barn at West Overton Village in Scottdale, Pennsylvania, and was photographed by Jessica Fike. Josh chose the venue. "It was the first and only location we looked at because Josh had attended a wedding there before, and he knew that I would love the style and look the barn offered," Sara says. The couple chose a color palette of plum, gray and lavender for their spring wedding. "The theme of our wedding had a rustic element to it with a few classy touches," Sara says. After an outdoor ceremony in perfect weather, guests proceeded to the brick barn, which featured exposed wood beams that were adorned with string lights. Dining tables were covered with burlap runners and decorated with mason jars filled with purple and white chrysanthemums and wildflowers. Sara's bridesmaids dressed in knee-length purple dresses, while Josh and the groomsmen wore three-piece suits in gray. Sara wore a form-fitting lace wedding gown. Although their wedding was perfect, Sara says that even if something had gone wrong, it would have been okay. "At the end of the day, if you're married, then it was all worth it."

The bouquets at Sara and Josh's spring wedding included lavender roses, green chrysanthemums and purple stock flowers.
The groomsmen wore gray three-piece suits while the bridesmaids wore short purple dresses. "I knew I wanted a short dress for my bridesmaids in a deep plum color," Sara says. "I originally wanted one-shoulder, but once I saw the neckline on the dress I chose, I fell in love with it."
Sara and Josh were married outdoors in a ceremony by the house at West Overton Village. The aisle was lined with mason jars of baby's breath hanging from shepherd hooks.
Sara wore a form-fitting lace gown on her wedding day. She carried a bouquet with white hydrangeas. Josh wore a gray three-piece suit and a gray tie.
The barn reception featured exposed-brick walls and wooden beams that were decorated with string lights. Dining tables were arranged with white linens and burlap table runners.
Sara and Josh's centerpieces were simple, with mason jars of chrysanthemums and wildflowers arranged on wooden slabs.
Instead of a wedding cake, Sara and Josh served their guests cupcakes for dessert. They also had a Pittsburgh-style cookie table.
Sara and Josh invited their guests to make goodie bags of candy as wedding favors. All the candies were purple, to match the theme.
The barn at West Overton was decorated with a canopy of sheer linens and string lights for the reception.
