A Purple Rustic Wedding at Amore Gardens in East Wenatchee, Washington
Burlap accents shaped the rustic theme of Kirsten Larsen (28 and a planner) and Joe Larsen's (30 and a diesel mechanic) wedding, which they decked out in their main color of purple. "Every time I asked for Joe's input on color for anything, he always answered purple," Kirsten says. "So when I started to think about colors for the wedding, I got the same answer." Kirsten's favorite hue also happened to be periwinkle, a soft shade of purple, that ended up coloring many of the details—from the strapless bridesmaid dresses to the the napkins folded at each setting. The rustic nuptials took place outside at Amore Gardens in East Wenatchee, Washington, surrounded by blooms and the natural woodlands. Kirsten and Joe got married in front of the arbor draped with white linens, accented with a white daisy decoration in the middle. Full Bloom Flowers and Plants made sure to incorporate hydrangeas (Kirsten's favorite flower) into her bouquet, along with peonies and garden roses that shaped an elegant arrangement. At the reception that followed, guests sat at dining tables draped with burlap and decorated with purple and white flower centerpieces, incorporating hydrangeas into the mix, of course. Friends and family took home packets of seeds with a tag that read "Let Love Grow"—a personal gift to remember the day by. Nothing won us over more than the three-tier white wedding cake, accented with burlap and purple hydrangeas.
