A Midsummer Night's Dream-Inspired Wedding at The Old Tappan Manor in Old Tappan, New Jersey

Barbara Harrison (29, drama therapy master’s student at NYU) and Adam Kaynan's (29, works at Unified Field Inc.)  A Midsummer Night’s Dream–themed affair evolved around two colors: purple (Barbara’s favorite color) and Carolina blue (the color of their alma mater, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill). The couple took their palette so seriously that Adam even donned a custom purple suit! With their color scheme settled, they brought their whimsical woodland theme to life with towering tree centerpieces, dreamy flower crowns, flowy floor-length gowns and plenty of romantic personal touches—like their surprise performance of “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors at the reception.
