A Purple Jewish Wedding at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee

The wedding of Julie Rosenthal (29 and a speech-language pathologist) and Brandon Cohen (31 and in commercial real estate) was full of purple. “Lavender, plum and really anything purple,” Julie says. “I love purple, and wanted to incorporate it into the wedding as much as possible.” Caprice of Enchanted Flowers brought the bride’s vision to life in her bouquet and centerpieces, which incorporated lavender roses, purple lisianthus, hydrangeas and Picasso calla lilies. The wedding took place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee, a romantic, elegant venue for the Jewish wedding. ““Everything about the venue was exquisite, breathtaking and perfect for my vision of my fairytale wedding,” Julie says. The couple incorporated Jewish traditions into their wedding day, including signing a colorful ketubah and dancing the horah at their reception. Another special detail true to them were their wedding favors. When Brandon took Julie out on their first date, he brought her chocolate bars wrapped in purple because he knew it was her favorite color. At their wedding, they gave chocolate bars with customized purple labels to their guests. See the details captured by Rebecca Denton Photography, below.
