A Purple and Pink Wedding at The Plantation Golf and Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida

Complete with an expansive golf course, waterfront terrace, natural palm trees and ballroom, The Plantation Golf and Country Club provides just the right mix of natural and enclosed spaces for any wedding. Chelsea McCool (25 and in account management) and Tim Hall (27 and in sales) looked for exactly that and quickly chose it as their venue. “It just made sense and was one of the easiest decisions we made while planning the wedding,” she says. On their wedding day, only a few purple, pink and metallic accents were needed to highlighted the space. Signature Florals placed two lush arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and delphiniums at the head of the aisle. Chelsea made her entrance in  a white mermaid-style wedding dress with a lace overlay. Her bouquet added an extra hint of color with pink orchids to match Tim’s boutonniere. After they exchanged personal vows, their guests shared a few happy tears before joining Chelsea and Tim for a party in the ballroom. “The reception decor was my absolute favorite,” says Chelsea. Gold vases were filled with purple flowers. White candlesticks accented each one inside a silver or copper bottle. Big band music played in the background as all enjoyed a few turns around the dance floor or a slice of their purple orchid-accented wedding cake. “We enjoyed every minute of the day with all of our guests, including our sparkler exit,” says Chelsea. “We were still hugging all of our family and friends after the sparklers had gone out.” Emily Katharine Photography captured these and more sweet moments below!
