Even though Amy and Jason had both gone to Xavier University in Cincinnati, they didn’t meet until after graduation. The two had coincidentally moved into the same neighborhood, and Jason’s roommate invited Amy over for drinks. Soon, Jason and Amy were dating. Afterward, they decided to take a walk around Mt. Adams, an area of Cincinnati with a romantic view of the skyline. While looking over the city, Jason surprised Amy with a proposal and a ring. Because she’s from Toledo and grew up playing golf at the Inverness Country Club, they decided it was the perfect place to have their reception.

Amy and Jason gave their out-of-town guests gift bags filled with local treats, including a guidebook of Toledo and Tony Packo’s Hot Dog Sauce, an area specialty.
Amy’s bridesmaids carried a colorful mix of roses, orchids, cosmos, and delphiniums wrapped in purple-and-white polka-dotted ribbon.
In lieu of traditional wedding favors, Amy and Jason made donations in their guests’ honor to Xavier University (their alma mater) and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They placed tented cards at each table to let guests know about their contribution.
Wreaths made of a colorful mix of roses, orchids, and cosmos decorated the church doors at the ceremony.
Amy’s bouquet of pale green and purple roses and green cymbidium orchids was wrapped with a lace ribbon.
An array of bright green and purple sweet peas, hydrangeas, orchids, and delphiniums topped the reception tables.
Amy and Jason’s white chocolate and Key lime, three-tiered cake was decorated with navy ribbon and simple frosted dots. Fresh flowers strewn along the tiers finished it off.
